Windows Live Movie Maker

A little while ago I wanted to make a video so I looked for Windows Movie Maker in my application list and I couldn’t find it. Movie Maker came bundled with Windows XP as well as Windows Vista but in my newly installed Windows 7 it was no where to be found.

XMLRPC Invalid Server Response

Sometimes when publishing a blog entry through Windows Live Writer you may experience an error message that says

Insert Video Plugin For Windows Live Writer

I use Windows Live Writer to blog because it is simple and it supports plugins. Plugins make blogging really easy as well as enhances your posts. One of the plugins I use is Insert Video v3.13. It’s for inserting YouTube videos into my posts. However there seems to be a minor problem when installing on Windows 7.

I have tested this with Windows XP and Windows 7. It’s almost similar, only difference is its a little harder to edit the system.ini file in Windows 7. The picture guide below will be the same for Windows XP and Windows 7 unless stated otherwise. The instructions for Windows 7 also apply for Windows Vista.
