If you are experiencing “Unable to located WordPress Content directory (wp-content). That may be because of wrong settings.

In the beginning I set up my FTP address as the hostname and it worked for sometime. Then later it just stopped working completely. To fix this problem simply change hostname to localhost.

Because WordPress will be upgrading the plugin automatically from the localhost so the hostname should be set as localhost or 127.0.0.1. Also please note that the username and password used has to be your webhosting FTP username and password. It will not work with your WordPress username and password.

It might take some time for the plugin to download and reactivated. If it was successful you will get that message as shown above.
